Sugar House Creamery — Attraction in Town of Jay

I visit this farm several times a year but never more! Just looking for fresh cheese, milk, and eggs and now my family is confronted with in your face political statements and slogans painted across an entire length of a barn and more political posters inside the store. I felt unwelcomed, unsafe, and very, very, uncomfortable. There are other farms in the area who don’t alienate their customers; they value their cliental. This one doesn’t understand that. How disappointing. The products are ok, but the management needs serious improvement! The door was open, a lady showed us the products, it was self pay and self service. As we were leaving after making 3 purchases the owner came out and informed us they didn't open for 5 more minutes and was so extremely rude! Stated..."for your information...." several times. It was our last trip there and we will not refer this place to anyone! We wanted to return our purchases and leave but our money was already in the lock box....

I’m very much in favor of supporting local business and this is a great example of such. We stopped by to pick up some cheese for a wine and cheese dinner.
