Upper Jay Art Center and Recovery Lounge — Local services in Town of Jay

Finally made into the Recovery Lounge of the Upper Jay Arts Center .... and was vastly positively impressed with the performance of Les Poules à Colin. It was like a big joyful breath of clean air. Just what I needed! The Recovery Lounge has a “feels like home in the ADK” atmosphere. No need to “dress to impress” — be comfortable — because it’s like a cooler version (and cleaner!) of your grandfather’s working mountain garage. As a musician who plays and attends performances all over the world in all kinds of venues from stadiums to coffee shops, I can say without a doubt that this is one of the 2 or 3 most special, intimate, high quality and fun places there is. It's a bit rustic, but that's part of its charm. I attended a play, and the acting was outstanding! The play itself was engaging, and they did a very nice job with the set design given the limited space with which they had to work. Lighting and sound were also spot on.
