This park is just what you'd expect. I've been here on 3 occasions when they were busy. They have a building they will rent for parties. They have a couple of picnic tables. They have restrooms. It has plenty of parking. It is just what you'd expect. Frankly, this is the only issue . It is the type of place that if I lived close, I'd take my child to, but I certainly make a special trip. I live an equal distance from Canadaqua ,Geneva, and Penn Yan, and there are dozen parks equally as nice, and there are at least 2 others in Penn Yan as well . Read moreThe kids specifically request to come to Indian Pines when given a choice of what park to go to. The swimming area is nice (though it was not open the last time we visited (June 1, 2021). It also has an updated and fun playground. The bathrooms are open. As is the gazebo, which is very large and free to use.

There is no charge for parking and there are lifeguards on duty for the defined swimming area. The small beach is rocky but a lot of people wear water shoes.
