Lake George Recreation Center — Attraction in Town of Lake George

Lake George Recreation Park offers many things to do. The park has many great opportunities to get outdoors. There is a tubing hill here, a playground, a football field, baseball fields, walking paths, and a dog park. Nice moderate hike from the Lake George rec area to Prospect Mt. An aside- the recreation area has SO MUCH to offer- check it out! The trail is not well marked to get to Prospect. It is generally along an old road, following a brook at the beginning, then gradually away and uphill. Cool historic cable car gears on the top of the mountain.
