The property is beautiful and inviting and when you pull up you get excited that you are going to have a unique stay out in the wilderness. ||||That is the last positive thing about this place. You enter into the reception and instantly realize this place is old and dated. The owner comes out with her negative attitude and you know now you are going to spend four days under her rule and control. She has you sign documents in essence to control your every move on the property, checking in guests, cars, rules by the pool and other nonsense mood killing documents . ||||First, we had two small dogs who were not allowed to stay. Read moreMy wife booked the place with the old owner back in the beginning of the year. When we arrived we didn't know what to expect, however we knew that this was not going to be a typical hotel class visit. Everything is by request, as if it's your own home. If you wanted house keeping done, or needed new towels or toilet paper; you needed to ask for it, and yes you need to do your own dishes and take out your own garbage. Like I said they just bought the place but they have big plans to make the place better and upgrade the property. We stayed in cabin D which was perfect for what me needed on our trip to Lake George. We plan on returning in the future. Its the perfect place where you have the peace and quite of the mountains, but are less than a mile from the life of Lake George village and all the surrounding...
