Note: If your claustrophobic DON'T DO "Trapped: Buried Alive Experience"
Pros: Fast Pass is well worth the $15 Trapped was an experience like nothing else i've experienced before. (In Trapped I'm shouting out the lady miner for helping me stay in the center seat as I was sliding off the seat while being "buried". Sorry I did not get the name.) The Train nearby added a nice touch while I was in the forest.(not a part of the haunt however) Two food locations Nice sized gift shop with a lot of choices inside. A Plus is that they carry Pins and Stickers, not to forget shirts, hoodies, and more(Also a shout out to the lady running the register / shop. Noticed I had remnants of "Trapped" still in my hoodie and helped me remove it) *Great how the path in the house winded back on itself and you can see paths in front and behind you. The Dancer was funny with his remarks in "Insanity" when they caught someone ogling them. The mask policy was being enforced by employees telling guests to put their masks back on. (Noticed mostly in Phobia) Projectors playing a great selection of music videos throughout the "hub / waiting space" *Friendly staff where needed!
Cons: Caught up to the group in from of us in the forest, the staff were telling the man to not pull his phone out again or he will be kicked out. Shortly after a character with a long black trench coat came in between our groups. He followed the accused party and watched them like hawks and even yelled at them to not push an actor. Right at the exit he pulled them to the side of the exit and started talking to them. I did not stay around to see if they were kicked out. Hope so though... Haunted House Insanity was not as detailed to other haunts I've been at. The group size we were sent in was way to large in Insanity. The group had to keep stopping over a dozen times in the haunt for something going on in the front of the group. Tons of scares were missed and animatronics were resetting when the back of the group eventually reached it. *The group size in Trapped also was large with a lack of social distancing, it however is more understood with how that specific attraction works. But it would be better to sacrifice a number of people in each group to keep the center of the burial clear for better social distancing and just add more "stuff" to bury people with.... Only Covid-19 precautions seen were mask requirement for everyone and hand sanitizer at the shops entrance. Otherwise it was large groups for every haunt / attraction. Lines with no social distancing. Didn't see anything being...
Read moreLook, I don’t know if they’re paying people to give them a five star review or if they’re making their friends and family do it, OR if people really just don’t have access to good scary haunts up here but this place is NOT a five star haunted house. I have been to over 8 haunted houses in Wisconsin and this one was by far the worst one I’ve been to. Here’s a hint, if people are just casually walking out of a “scary” attraction, it wasn’t scary. They should be screaming, laughing, out of breath etc. people were walking out like they just got their license renewed at the DMV. They send people in 20 at a time, so you’re back to back in a huge line of people just walking through. All I could hear 90% of the time were other peoples conversations accompanied with a background noise of whistles/bangs/pops. I don’t know if most of their staff called off this weekend but I’d say 80% of the rooms were completely void of any actors. Those rooms were solely just props and random loud noises (plus people’s casual conversations). It was like we were touring a museum of scary props and haunted house sets. And that was it. Just a walk though of a huge group of people touring a haunted house set, some actors trying their best, loud noises and tight squeezes. The woods event was basically the exact same experience. I love haunted houses, I’m easy to scare, I was not scared once at at either attraction. If anything I was annoyed that I spent so much to be sorely disappointed. This place should be $20 total at best. Save your money, try somewhere else if you truly want to be scared and have a good time. Because this place...
Read moreSo very disappointed with burial chambers. Seems they are only out to make money now. Definitely not the best house anymore and we go to 2 different places a weekend jn October. The fact that you have to pay for parking now is crazy because if you want all three haunts, you have to come back, so you are paying another $11.10 on top of tickets because you get charged tax on the $5 a time and have to pay online. They send so many people through at once that there's no surprise or scare. They send them through so fast that there is no time in between so by the time you get even 1/2 way through there is a group behind you and caught up to the group ahead of you. Came back to do phobia the woods and had the fast pass amd got put in the middle of a large group, not even exaggerating there were 10 people ahead of us general admission, 10 people with fast pass in the middle, and at least 10 more general admissions behind us, sent through at once. That is over 30 people, and it was the last weekend to go, maybe 30 people waiting to go through. This isn't the first year, we had high hopes have going here for 10+ years and in the last 3 years things keep getting worse and now having to pay extra for parking has made us decide we won't be returning. Need to get my money's worth would rather drive further to other places. I'm not sure how they are affiliated with Abandoned down in mt. pleasant, but burial needs to take some tips from them!! Won't miss a year to go down there. I highly recommend it!!! Basically, the only reason we went to the burial is because we purchased the...
