These are high quality coffee mugs! As a Louisiana native, I have had my PJ'S Coffee of New Orleans mug for more than two years and have even put it in the dishwasher at least fifty times. To this day, it looks like the day I bought it. When going to Hot Springs, AK on vacation, I found the green souvenir mug and realized that it was in fact also Sunset Hill Stoneware. When my now husband proposed, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for Wedding Favors.

These were absolutely perfect, and my guests use these coffee mugs regularly even though it has been six months since the wedding! The depth and gradiation of the color reflect that these are in fact premium handmade coffee mugs. I gave them a picture of the A&J crest that I wanted to use for the wedding, and they were able to make the front emblem of the coffee mug perfectly mimic it. You will also notice the personalized message stamped on the bottom of each mug. It was a very nice final touch for the wedding favor mugs. I ordered 146 mugs, and they all came in in time for the wedding.

I highly recommend them. One recommendation I would make when ordering is to request a "proof," or sample of the physical mug before approving for full production. Also, I would ask for a thicker emblem for what you want branded on the front, as you can see it much more clearly than if it was a thin design and therefore less defined. Once the mug is perfected, I would order as many mugs as you have people coming 🙂

I found their products at an artisanal coffee shop in Seattle, and when speaking to the show owner found out how reasonably priced these are. If you are looking for a team-builder, end-of-year gift, etc., you will absolutely find an option for $25 a cup or less (shipping and custom logo included, depending on cup and color choices of course). And unlike all the stainless steel branded stuff going around these days, these are soft, warm, perfectly glazed, and made in America.

Sunset Hill was extremely responsive, getting me multiple quotes for different color and mug options the same day, and very quickly turned around my custom logo. The mugs shipped almost 8 weeks ahead of schedule, exceptionally well packaged. I also included shipping materials so I could ship myself and those are thick cardboard and I have NO concerns shipping the mugs in them.

Only two items of note:

Sunset Hill does not drop-ship items, so if you have a diverse team you will be mailing yourself. I've found my FedEx business account has the best rate, about $10 to ship anywhere in the USA with the shipping materials Sunset Hill provides, so keep this in mind if your budget is tight.

I did not try this but should have... you may want to ask them if they have a logo for your company already created (if you are a big company). They did not share this with me (so perhaps they did not for my company) and I did not ask, but if the budget is tight a pre-made logo will save you some time and money.

Overall? Hands down some of the best stoneware I have seen, I'm coming back the next...

My favorite mug has always been one that I got on a trip to Hawaii a few years back when we toured Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation. My husband has always been jealous and wished he had gotten one too.

When my husband started his own company, I knew the perfect surprise gift would be to find the exact same mug and customize it with our own logo and colors.

I cannot get over how wonderful the product and the whole experience has been! The Sunset Hill team was so helpful, genuinely kind, and overall great to work with. When it comes to picking out the style and color of the mug, they have many different options and the sample pictures on their site are accurate and clear. Prices and lead time were made clear as well, and they responded so quickly to my questions. They communicated where the mugs were at in the process and when they shipped. (My order arrived much sooner than expected too!) I also got an email once they arrived thanking me for supporting their business and to reach out if anything was amiss. This has been the best business I have ever worked with! We plan to give these out to family, clients, business partners/employees, and I will absolutely order more in the future for additional marketing. I will also recommend to everyone I know!
