Fly-In Theater — Attraction in Town of Nekimi

This theater is a great outdoor stop for movies during AirVenture in July. They use a large inflatable projector screen and massive speakers during showings. Surprisingly, the sound quality is actually excellent even towards the back of where the audience normally sits. There are often panels and interviews with special guests held prior to the showing. During AirVenture 2018, they played a spectacular documentary "Spitfire," which takes the viewer on an intimate journey through the history of the airplane, with real restored machines - moreover, the producers were actually at the movie theater and autographed their complementary book in the souvenir shop the next day!
