I was disappointed with the overall experience. I was dropping off a friend, i had emailed the airport ahead of time with the situation and things seemed like it waa going to be an easy and pleasant wait, it was anything but those. And i was shocked at what they had her do to enter the waiting area! I will Never fly! I was instructed by email that when we arrived i could go with her into the waiting area...when she gives them her ticket/boarding pass etc. I just need to inform them of the situation and they will allow me to wait with a type of waiver just to sit and wait the two hours until she was ready to go. When we got there the guys at the gate that takes the online prepaid airline tickets wouldn't honor what the email said and was rude and arrogant, then they started to act impatient with my friend but she's so good hearted she rolled with it. I was told if i wanted to wait with her i would have to purchase a boarding pass...are you kidding me! So we were going to thats how important it was....but the line was so long because it's also the regular line for boarding the plane and buying tickets, there was one older guy there who seemed lije he had no clue what was going on, the line wasn't moving because he wasn't helping anyone. We gave up at this rate she would miss her flight by the time we or before we got the pass. She went through everything then they made her go through the x-ray machine, i have seen it done before but never like this, yes she had to stand ft apart, but hands over her head, then they made her tilt her pelvis out by tucking in her buttocks and pushing out her pubic bone area!!! Like a frozen in time pelvic thrust! There were several guys standing around and a woman was there. I was never more angry or insulted. I've looked up and researched the proper stance protocol for Airline X-Ray machines and what i witnessed and what she endured violated those. Stop employing irresponsible people for such a serious task. This type of job needs serious people not the likes of the people working on February 25, 2020. And, i wrote back and conveyed my experience and was told it was handled improperly, i should have been given the pass and my friend should have treated with...
Read moreMy wife and I arrived early for our Xmas vacation flight and after standing in line for nearly half an hour we were told to come back later since they were not yet checking people in for our flight... We were made to return to the back of the line and wait again. The whole time there were two women checking people in at one computer, helping one group at a time.
The staff was inexcusably rude and inconsiderate, the management clearly does not care, there was noplace to eat or drink and my wife and I appear to have found the only power outlet to charge our phones. This place is a disaster.
They also charged us nearly 80 dollars to park in an outdoor, uncovered lot for a week where the only "security" appeared to be some local dude in hot topic combat boots. I have never paid that much even at a real airport with real security and protection for your vehicle.
I hope never to set foot in your...
Read moreThey were very rude to my mother. The Allegiant boarding employees are incredibly unprofessional and greedy. There is a man who checks carry-on bag tags who was very rude to us on Christmas Day. He wore a very creepy and threatening full-face “Santa” mask and yelled at us about a carry-on bag that was the appropriate size. Still, they made us test the bag twice and were very rude and condescending. I suppose they get commission for overcharging people. That man scared all the children who were around. When I told the woman who was dealing with boarding that the mask was against the rules and made me uncomfortable (as she checked out modestly-sized bag AGAIN - they had all had a gossipy meeting about us...) and she just looked at me and smiled and said, “Merry Christma.” Will not be using this airport anymore...
