1st, I want to make it clear I've read all the reviews, I don't tend to write reviews or even comment on others reviews as they are people's opinions, however, to the woman that says she initially supported and then rejected based on hiring/firing issues and reporting on names and ages of the owners children... Shame on you, it's not of your business who someone hires or fires, it's also None of your business who the owners kids are. But since you've felt the need to mention them, you may want to read your state laws and be careful what you put out there for the big wide world to read because you violated many laws!!! One being Child Privacy/protection laws federal and state! A huge shame on you! To the lady taking photos and slamming them for "throwing something together" maybe you should see what they had to work with before giving them the shaft on design efforts. Also if you feel the food is "too bland" add some hot sauce some of us can't handle to many seasonings....
I had breakfast, I ordered The Early Bird Scramble, it was scrumdiddliumptious! And I will definitely be back, thank you for your hard work.
And yes if they are busy, there will be a line up, of there is a line up, there will be a wait for your food, do yourself a favor and sit at the counter, observe them making your food fresh to order maybe that'll help you understand what it takes to feed a hungry crowd!
The food is definitely...
Read moreThis restaurant definitely has a family-run vibe, and as such we like to be supportive of small businesses; however, this was tough.
We went on a Sunday and they were busy. We waited about 15 minutes to get a seat and then once we ordered our food it took nearly an hour for us to get our food.
This could have been overlooked if the food had been worth the wait. Unfortunately, it was not.
The coffee and the homemade toast was good. The potatoes were dry, stale and bland. The burrito was bland but ok. All-in-all, not worth a 1-hour wait for food. We also had to keep asking for things like coffee refills and a fork missing from the serving set. We ended up leaving more food on the plate than we ate after waiting over an hour for it.
The place in general seems slapped together in a hurry. Nothing finished. Paint and molding incomplete. No real signage for the restaurant. Confusing entrance from the parking lot.
The more egregious issues we had with the restaurant is that they had two children working there as well. Not just seating people and cashing people out, but cleaning tables and serving food. We also saw (not once but twice during our visit) one of the adults that seemed to be in charge drop a towel on the floor, then pick it up and put it back on top of the other clean towels that were used later to wipe the tables.
Unfortunately, we can't recommend this place until they fix...
Read moreFor starters I was SO supportive of this place when they opened. We went on day 1 and the food was SO good. The waitress sat herself down at our table for 10 minutes and didn’t even know how to take our food order. There was an 11 year old girl named Alexis seating people, running food, taking orders, bussing tables and taking payment from people (weird but day one so didn’t question it).
They hired a new food runner and she worked there like a day or two and the owner told her his 13 year old decided he wanted the job so he was letting her go, but his waitress proceeded to bash this 18 year old girl on a Facebook post talking about “nobody would want to work with someone that sits down to eat (took a break) and talks incessively (communicate with staff and customers) laughing at her. So the boss fired her instead of trying to fix the issue then lied about it to her face.
The children that work there aren’t of working age, and he is paying people under the table. I don’t see this place lasting long. No business stands strong without communication and of...
