Great place to take a break from beach and get a run in. Some of it is shaded when I ran at noon on a day when it was 70. Was perfect escape of mulch, wood chip, and mixed gravel. Stops along the way have benches or little gazebos with views of the water from many spots. So quiet and nice. Took running stroller on it and was great! Make sure you have a all terrain one!

Absolutely beautiful little hidden gem. Great for a private beach day. Not crowded. Caught a great sunset view Plenty of tables to enjoy a picnic. Water was clean Dogs were welcome just not in the water.

Nicely done trail along the bay. Walked on cold Dec weekend, very few people on the trail and nearly empty beach parking lot. Part of the lot was flooded.

Closed due to storm damage. Storm was more than almost 2 months ago. Hope they don't give up on it like Nassau has done to the Welwyn preserve (Nassau county Holocaust memorial and tolerance center) in Glen Cove. Those paths are almost impassable during summer months.
