It is unheard of to pair all-you-can-eat-buffet with amazing perfectly prepared food. But that is just what one gets when reserving a table at The Heritage Club Lobster night. All you can eat lobster is just the beginning though. The "buffet-table" is filled with fresh, sumptuous seafood. The muscles and little neck claims were fresh and masterfully prepared. The muscles marinara was lightly sauced in a rich marinara with subtle but detectable fresh garlic cloves and fresh basil. The clams were cooked in clam juice, with a white wine, butter and garlic reduction. At most buffets you would find these items floating in sauce or butter, but not here. The lobsters were steamed to perfection and halved for easier eating. In addition to the lobster, clams and muscles, add jumbo shrimp cocktail, bear battered fresh halibut which was stupendous and battered and fried calimari that was tender, a little bit salty, but excellent none the less. For those diners who do not eat seafood or fish there was salad, flank steak which was well seasoned, although I prefer my steak medium rare rather than medium and well done. They also served fries and had a carving board featuring pork and turkey although I did not try either, both looked juicy and flavorful. They also offered a mini Viennese table with a variety of mousse, fresh baked soft cookies, brownies, fresh fruit and an apple cobbler. My group all liked the desserts but the apple cobbler could use a touch more cinnamon and a little less butter in the filler. For $58 dollars a person ($38 for those not eating seafood) it is a bargain given the quality and quatity of the food. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Rafael, one of the managers made sure that discarded plates were cleared quickly, drink glasses were refilled almost without having to ask, remiscent of a time when dining out was an event. Every detail was well thought out and the staff was superbly trained as the buffet table was constantly refilled and beautifully presented. Heritage Club just opened, but I hope and suspect it will be around for a long time.

I cannot say enough positive things about Heritage Club and their staff. I worked primarily with Danielle and she was absolutely wonderful. Attentive to all our wants, needs and questions. She never left us hanging and always made us feel like a priority. She was there every step of the way and made the process run so smooth! For the day of I HIGHLY recommend requesting Janet for your bridal attendant and Edgar for your maître d’. They were a DREAM TEAM. Janet became my best friend the moment I got off the bus. Feeding me, helping me use the bathroom, fanning me with an electric fan she carried, making sure my husband and I were hydrated while taking photos, had stoppers to put on my heels for when I was walking on the grass. She truly thought of it all and was so calm and lovely during it all. She even watched my nephew for a little so his parents could enjoy the final songs. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed from the start! Edgar made sure all the other guests were satisfied and taken care of. He walked around to every table and took care of all the guests. He helped the transition run smoothly and made sure there were not questions unanswered. My mom couldn’t stop raving about him! And as for the venue itself, I’m sure many brides agree that the grounds are BEAUTIFUL. The outdoor cocktail hour was stunning, the ballroom looked breathtaking, and the food was delicious. You really don’t need to do much to the space to make it wedding ready. We had SO many compliments on the food. From the cocktail hour, to dinner, desserts, to-go station and after party menu, the food was stellar. Highly recommend having your after party on the patio. We had cordials, cigar rolling, and MORE food. Perfect way to end an already perfect day!

We truly (just like everyone else) have not one bad thing to say about the Heritage Club and their team! We worked with Danielle, who from the start was so patient with us, from our endless questions and menu recommendations, she truly made every moment leading up to the wedding feel so effortless and stress free. I can write a book on all the reasons why Janet, the bridal attendant was absolutely incredible. From the moment that we walked into the venue, she was amazing, and that is putting it lightly. From providing us drinks and food throughout the day, making sure my husband and I got our alone time, and providing me with her mini handheld fan the entire day (which was a godsend in august) she was such a huge blessing to have. She makes you feel like you have known her for years, ensures you are comfortable throughout the day and honestly gave the best advice. We still have guests talk about her every time our wedding comes up! She left a long lasting impression on many. And on that topic, we STILL, a month later, have people texting us telling us how amazing our wedding was. The food was spectacular, the drinks were perfection, the staff was attentive and on point all night and we really do have the Heritage Club team to thank for that. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU🤍

I want to start off by saying that we truly had the most perfect wedding. The Heritage Club was absolutely amazing. Our guests have not stopped raving about it and we are so happy with how it went.

My issue is, not even 24 hours after having our wedding we received a call from one of your staff members. They were calling to see how the service was because the staff did not receive enough tips. We were so upset for many reasons 1- because your staff was incredible and deserved a great tip and 2- because we were not even married for 24 hours and we received such an inappropriate call. It was not only embarrassing but it put an incredibly sour taste in our mouths. What is fair is fair and we resolved it right away by quickly paying another one of your staff members so that he could tip everyone. We had given tips that night but apparently it was not enough and whilst that MAY be true it could have been an email on Monday. Instead I received a call while leaving our wedding brunch. Not to mention, this staff member could not even find me or my husband to say hi the night of our wedding. You pay a lot to have a wedding here and this just to me was beyond unprofessional.

My sister recently had an equally as beautiful wedding at The Boathouse in NYC and tip was included in their final bill. With the obscene administrative fees that are tacked on to the final bill, maybe tips should be added to that so that your staff does not have to make painful calls like they did for us.

We had the most amazing night but unfortunately this one incident happened. I really debated writing a review but this was handled so poorly.

I know that you and the members at Heritage Club will probably say that you wanted to make sure the service was good and that's fair but obviously "New York's Premier" property is not going to have poor service. That was just an excuse to justify searching for more tips.

Like I said, what is fair is fair and we wanted to make that right and right away and we did. I guess my point in this email is we really were rubbed the wrong way in the end.

Janet is absolutely incredible and so is the rest of the staff that were working there that night. Our night was perfect and we will not let something like this take away from it but I think something...

We cannot be more happy with the Heritage Club. The venue is picturesque (our photographer had a field day with all of the beautiful locations the grounds have to offer), not to mention it overlooks the famous Bethpage black golf course.

We knew the heritage club was our dream wedding location the day we stepped foot into their dreamy checkered floor and green hallways. The staff are top tier and our guests are STILL raving about how amazing the food was. Since booking, we went to one showcase, attended their Mother’s Day brunch, and actually attended a winter day wedding too. I promise you will not get food with the variety they offer that’s this delicious at another venue.

Honorable mention to Danielle for being the most attentive throughout our entire process from the day we booked with her until our wedding day which she was present for! She is professional, attentive, and was great at guiding us with any questions we had!

10/10 for Edgar. He was our Maitre D and the best! He made the day easy and as least stressful as possible. His staff is top tier. We met Edgar at the food tasting and he remembered exactly who we were months later when we dropped off our items for the wedding to be set up. Thank you Edgar for making our wedding day so special.

And last but not least— Janet. Janet was my bridal attendant who saved the day. The day of the wedding I was so overwhelmed heading to the venue with all of my day of necessities that I forgot an entire cooler of my baby’s bottles for the day. Pure panic and 15 minutes from doing my first look— Janet quickly went to the store and bought me new baby bottles, milk and soap. Janet saved the day. Not only did she ease my then guilt from forgetting the cooler, but she was my right hand woman all day long making sure I had water, a drink, every kind of food I wanted all day. Janet, you’re amazing!!!! Not to mention it was a VERY hot wedding day (beginning of the heat wave) — and she made sure I was fanned to cool down and that my one year old was also cooled down.

We also golfed the Friday before the wedding on the red course and the process was very easy to set up.

Thank you to the Heritage Club for making our day so incredibly special. You gave us our dream wedding and we will never forget how...
