We went there on labor day weekend so, maybe my impression was tainted. The trails are flat, easy and fairly dirty - debris, broken bottles, trash everywhere. Extremely overcrowded including large groups so loud that you can hear them from half a mile. The park is a narrow strip of land sandwich between residential areas, rail- and regular roads. You can hear all these all the time even when you go far to the middle. While lakes are pretty and the waterfowl is abundant but again constant human presence, noise pollution and debris...

I love this park in general but my favorite is that they kept it original with the natural dirt, gravel parking lot! Please do not ever put ugly asphalt or concrete down!

They need to build or put a permanent out house or porta potty in that empty caged in area by field and bike path! Cuz if you need to use the bathroom for an emergency, you're gonna have to dig a hole,go in a bucket or wait till you...

We loved our visit and short hike here. A thunderstorm cut short our visit, which included a chance for our dog to explore in the woods. You have to basically park in a neighborhood next to family homes (I wonder how those families feel about all these strangers coming into their cul de sac!). Lovely nature spot.
