Bethpage Bikeway — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

My favorite bike path on Long Island! Very scenic on the south end in the Massapequa Preserve area with lakes, bridges and streams right along the path. It’s a completely paved, car-free path and there are only a handful of street crossings. Mostly flat with only a few significant inclines (over the southern state parkway, along the LIE service road, and in Bethpage State Park). The best bike path in Long Island. You can ride almost 20 plus miles round trip on this path. If you want to extend it , you can even connect to the Jones beach bike trail but then you have to ride on the road for 10-15 minutes.
