Really great to have a theatre so close to town. The prices are really great, and they have added recliner seats that you can reserve if you'd like which are very comfortable. The screens are modest but they have most, if not all of the new movies available. They have concession cover with drinks and popcorn and candy. Most recently I went to see the Demon Slayer movie, which I believe is the first non Ghibli anime movie they've ever had and I really really really hope that keep offering anime movies. Not only that but they had two options for subtitled with the original Japanese dialogue which I was absolutely thrilled about! If you keep offering these things you'll have a loyal customer! đź’•

A very pleasant experience! We watched a film early afternoon on a Friday and had the room to ourselves. The service was very welcoming and very tasty salty popcorn (no sweet popcorn unfortunately). We also enjoyed the free top up of popcorn! The room wasn’t huge but still had a decent sized screen. We booked the recliner seats for a few extra dollars and it was well worth it as they were extremely comfortable and heated. A great local option if you’re wanting a night at the movie theater.

Have visited a few times now. We will probably make this our regular theater now as opposed to Regal in Albany. Prices are sooo cheap compared to the big name cinemas. You never feel jam packed into theater or rows with strangers. Snack bar has good choices and also is modestly priced. Plus 1 free refill on any size drink and any size popcorn. The Theater is cooled appropriately and Seats are comfortable! My husband is 6'6 and he had ample leg room, he even called it cozy.

This is my all time favorite movie theater. It has a small family friendly feel that includes being budget friendly. The viewing rooms are appropriately sized to have wide isles and ... Thank the good Lord....roomy enough for people to walk past you without a need to be body surfed to get out for a snack or bathroom break. The screen is large...adds are local with great HD quality and RELEVENT. This theater has real recliners...yes....REAL... Honest to God tilt back, feet up recliners, that sink down in a "V" to prevent obstructing the view of others and not to annoy the people behind you. For menopausal mommas or older folks who's back could ache if sitting a few hours...the chairs are HEAT OR COOLED!! Yup..temperature control devices for each seat. There are labeled WIDE armrests with built in cup holders so no arguing about who gets the arm rest. These seating options would coat thousands of dollars in a new car... But the theater upcharge is only $1.00. YUP A BUCK!! The savings doesn't stop there. You get a free DOLLAR OFF coupon for ANY snack item AND the popcorn AND drink can be refilled ( one time each)for free!!! The savings doesn't end there...a local pizza place will give you a free drink if you bring your movie ticket. (I did say the local adds were relevant). What's Not to LOVE. Weekend rates are $6.00. Tell them AMY VAN...

The movie was not projected onto the screen correctly, so the bottom foot of the movie was off the screen (room 3), which was exceptionally annoying bc it movie has subtitles and most of the subtitles were off the screen. When we came out of the movie the staff was no where to be seen. Also when the movie ended, even after the credits where over, no one turned the lights back on, so it was pitch black in the theater, had to use my phone Flashlight to get my stuff and leave bc I couldn't see anything. I love this movie theater and have been going here for years but the current staff sucks and honestly needs to be fired. Besides for this time, when I have gone there in the last few weeks, the staff has been rude to me, not at all friendly, and sometimes when I'm waiting next in line, they just ignore me and continue their conversation...

2022 Update: Still a bizarre way of doing business despite being a family-oriented place. Nope. Original: Atmosphere screams "squeeze you for every penny." As most theaters post, the Lyceum also has signage noting that no outside food or beverages are to be brought inside the theater, "including bottled water." I saw more "you can't do this!" signs than I saw movie posters. They're also really ridiculous about the 3D glasses, with notes on the theater doors explaining that if you take your 3D glasses, it is punishable as a crime by law. Seriously? This place is not family oriented, it's no different than any of the other big theaters trying to squeeze you for all you've got. This below par theater isn't anything to...
