Earlville Opera House — Attraction in Town of Sherburne

I love EOH! The director, Michelle, is the kindest, nicest lady. The staff that I've met over the years have all been very kind people who really seem to care about the place and what they do there. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, the building itself is worth a visit to see.

I love that they have artist showcases periodically featuring local artists, and that they support local musicians as well. In addition, it's awesome that they host paranormal investigations. I've been part of the group that leads them there for years now, and the attendees have always been so respectful and kind. It's a lovely location to investigate. Also, for any of you paranormal enthusiasts out there- multiple staff have told me firsthand that they feel the place is haunted and relayed their own personal experiences to me. But never fear, nothing that they reported has ever been negative.

In my opinion, EOH is fantastic to work with and a joy to interact with! They make it easy and enjoyable to work with them. I really can't say enough good things! I highly recommend you catch an art show, musical performance, event, or investigation...

We tried to book online but the website advised “tickets available at the door”. We came for the 10pm tour, basically had to follow the workers up the stairs like creeps until someone finally told us, ‘oh no, not enough people registered ahead of time so we aren’t doing another show, you should have signed up ahead of time’. To their credit, they did offer a discount to the next tour in I’m guessing October?? (It’s currently June). We planned our whole evening around this tour and drove over 40 minutes to get here, so I said absolutely no thanks. Took a ride to check out their Christmas Craft Show with all local artists. There was a very nice and sizable assortment of quality crafts that will be available six days a week till just before christmas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were told that quite a bit of the exhibits would be moved to their regular gift shop...
