Very lovely waitress polite, fast service, and attentive. Food was very good. Deep fried cheese curds were a delight but very small portion for the price, Green beans were garlic forward, mashed potatoes and gravy wonderful, stake was under cooked but still delicious, fish cooked to perfection tarter sauce had a heavy hand on the dill weed and fries were good. Well the weather was superb as we dined outside listening to the talented Liz Fiddle! The menu was brief yet offered small plates, sandwiches and comfy sides. Brisket nachos, best chicken sandwich finished with a fresh local baked roll/bread. Extensive beer list of course, and the wine minimal but enjoyable. Place looks clean. Clean bathroom. Staff was polite. But We were super disappointed by our lunch. A $20 fish dinner should include a heap of fries, which there wasn't, and as we called ahead and my meal wasn't ready upon arrival the Cole slaw should have been cold. It was WARM, contained more mayo than anything. The new owners might have bitten off more than they can chew. Definitely need some pointers in alot...
