Founders Landing Park — Attraction in Town of Southold

Southold Park District members have access to Founders Landing Park and Beach. This is one of the most popular beaches and parks on the North Fork. The Wharf House features a professional kitchen and event facility located in the center of the park. Members can rent the Wharf House to host parties and family events with panoramic views of the water. The beach has lifeguards during the summer season and the playground is right on the beach. The park offers picnic tables under shade trees with views of the water. This is a great place to host a summer picnic and watch the boating around Shelter Island in the distance. The park has nice clean rest rooms and plenty of beach area to stake your own spot...

It was unpleasant experience today. The beach was dirty with garbage too many cars parked in the road, along with rude people. Kids threw a ball at my car and hit the back window. It was such a horrible experience at my own town beach. Overpopulated and dirty. I will not return...

Really enjoyed my 4th of July there beautiful beach. Quiet in the afternoon (besides the private party next door). Great place to swim! Small playground with swings and a medium sized slide.

Watch out for the seagulls they want...
