One of the most unique viewpoints on the Island. The land narrows to a literal point and, depending upon the tide, you can have both the Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay lapping at your ankles. Beware of strong tides. Good fishing here as well. Please pack out your trash, and consider bringing an extra bag to haul some refuse from less considerate. Purchase a Suffolk County Outer Beach Permit at Indian Island to drive to the point or park at the lot and enjoy the hike. Great place to watch a storm too!

Stunning! So quiet, wild and very empty on a weekday morning in the summer. Wear long pants and be vigilant for ticks while walking to and from your car — the trail is grassy and you *will* pick up a tick. I wouldn’t bring my dog here for this very reason. Otherwise, a gorgeous, peaceful place to enjoy the end of the North Fork! Free parking, too. (You turn left into the small lot, opposite the much larger lot for the ferry.)

This is a very relaxing area to visit it’s good for the kids a lot of space for the kids to explore or just for a fun relaxing family day out great for picnics it’s a very scenic drive a lot of farm land definitely worth the drive make sure to pack a snack bag with drinks and food there is also a lot of parking and a lot of wild deer running around we were very luck to see a few my kids were fascinated to see them

This place is turning a little bit funny is it used to be more pleasant to be there in the past, to go in and spend our time there was a family. And now they start closing the park from 4:00 I don't see that happening in any other State Park in United States, look like is the people that the work in Park getting lazy and they don't want to do anything, that's why I thing is the real reason why they don't let nobody use the grills. How the virus is going to spread...
