Don't even think about dealing with these guys. We bought a boat from one of their clients that stored their boat there and we were not from the area so we hired Patsy's to do some work. Everything they did was screwed up substantially. They charged $900 to take off some electronic equipment from the hard top so the boat could be trucked. Instead of just disconnecting it from the top and taping the wires to the hard top, they pulled them out all the way to the dash. Had to spend a few days fishing them back thru the radar arch and hard top. Then they left one small device on the hard top and the trucker had to climb up and remove it, there was no problem with his work. They told us that all the equipment was boxed and labelled. When the boat arrived it was all lying down in the cabin on top of some broken boxes with absolutely NO labeling what so ever and dented our teak floor. We had also hired them to have our props machined at another cost of around $900. Then they didn't put them in the boat to be transported. They called us several hours after the truck left to say the props were still in their office. They blamed the trucker for not getting them. He had been there overnight and they didn't bother to tell the driver or put them on the boat. They had told the truck company 2 weeks before that the props were in the office but didn't move them to the boat. Another lie was that they didn't put them in the boat because they weren't in boxes and they didn't want to damage anything. Later we discovered they were in perfectly fitting boxes from the machine shop that did the work on them. They didn't respond to our messages for a day and a half, then the response was that we owed them money they had not mentioned previously and when it was paid they would ship the props at our expense. Finally a few days later my husband arranged with the same trucking company to have an Uber pick up the props from Patsy's and meet up with the truck 70 miles away. Then the truck brought them to our area and we met with him and picked them up. There has not been even a "sorry" for all of this! They were greedy bumbling fools who have no professionalism whatsover in their work or attitude. So far this cost us $250 for the uber, putting the boat on blocks for a week till the props arrived $300, don't know yet what the cost will be to fix the wiring they yanked out will be at least $1500 or more to put it all back together. Don't waste your time and money having any...
Read moreUnacceptable and Unprofessional Treatment Toward Our Family
Writing to express a deep disappointment and frustration regarding the way my family and I were treated during our recent visit to your marina by Patty.
For over five years, my sister and her family—longstanding customers who store their jet ski with your marina—have enjoyed access to the pool . This has never been an issue, and it’s a courtesy that was understood to be part of their continued loyalty and relationship with your team.
On this particular visit, however, they were blindsided. We arrived with just 5 of us around 3:30pm & were abruptly told by the pool that the policy had changed due to an incident that occurred the night before—information that was never communicated in advance. Rather than being treated with professionalism or basic courtesy, we were essentially pushed out of the pool area .
What made this situation even more upsetting is the public embarrassment caused to my sister. She is a hardworking woman, and her husband serves this community as a local police officer. They’ve shown nothing but respect and loyalty to your marina over the years, and this treatment felt discriminatory, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary.
I remained calm and tried to understand the situation, but the fact remains: your team failed to communicate, disregarded the long-standing relationship you have with my sister’s family, and handled the situation in a way that lacked tact, respect, and basic professionalism.
We expect an explanation, an apology, and some accountability. My sister and her family deserve better—and frankly, so do I . I'll be sure to share this experience with local...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed by the treatment my family and I received at this marina. We pay for a jetski slip for a few years and came to use the pool, under the impression that we had access to it. Instead of approaching us discreetly or professionally, the owner's wife Patty chose to confront us publicly in front of other families telling us to read our contract, staring, and making us feel completely humiliated.
Her tone and behavior were not only disrespectful but felt classless and racial. It was clear we were being treated differently because we rent a jetski slip rather than a boat slip and possibly because of who we are. We were made to feel like we didn’t belong there, and that is unacceptable.
There is no excuse for a business owner to treat paying customers this way. If this is how they operate with blatant bias and public humiliation, then people need to know. Families deserve to feel safe and welcome, not shamed and singled out. I will never forget how my family was made to feel that day, and I will never recommend this marina to anyone.
Every paying customer regardless of what type of slip they rent deserves to be treated with basic dignity and respect. No one should be made to feel lesser than or unwelcome, especially in a family setting.
I believe my family deserves an apology from the owner for this type of treatment and disrespect that we experienced.
This experience left a lasting negative impression, and I would caution others to consider this before doing...
