This was one of the last falls we hit that day, but we wanted to squeeze it in. The long bumpy drive, at least we wanted to make it worth it and it was. We first turned into the campground, and had to turn around and go further down the road. Make sure the directions are to the falls, not the campground park. We parked across the street in the parking lot and walked down to the falls. It was quite magical, we were trying to enjoy it but this sketchy guy was following us and would randomly pop out of the woods. I would have liked to take more pics, but I had to send my mom and girls back to the car while I minimize my tripod in case I needed to use it. The sun sets quickly there, make sure you feel safe. Most places we did, but we got there late and we were the only people there other than me creepy. The trail went further, but we weren’t angle to continue. I used my debit card. At 165 feet tall it’s only 2 feet shorter than Niagara Falls, and is the tallest waterfall in Wisconsin. The trails and area around the falls are so well kept. Viewing decks on either side of the falls offer great views of the waterfall, as well as landscape in the other direction.
