Three Lakes Winery — Attraction in Town of Three Lakes

We’ve been to many wineries throughout Wisconsin and other states but this one was just odd. We walk in, were never greeted by any associates. The staff at the “bar” weren’t in a hurry to rush those that were done sampling to step aside and let some other customers in to taste. We bought 12 bottles of wine… not sure if any of those ladies “sampling” did, just think they should have catered to those that were actually there to blow money on wine, not for a photo shoot. I guess we’ve just been treated better at other facilities when they know people come from afar to spend money on their wine. I will add too, there was only a small area to sample. I feel the whole building that’s considered the gift shop portion is such wasted space. There should be more tasting areas for your customers. I’m sure the wine sells better than the miscellaneous items sold in the store. I will say, our wine lady was super sweet. She knew her stuff when it came to questions we had asked but also knew a lot about the different wines, where they are made, etc. One thing that separates your wine from others, is there is A LOT more refreshing tasting wines at Three Lakes than some of our personal favorites. The flavor and the aroma of the wines we sampled, many we bought, were delicious and some of the best tasting wine I’ve had! The chocolate raspberry wine was phenomenal and I’m not much for a liqueur...

We fell in love with the wines when visiting Wisconsin several years ago. We started to have it shipped to Az; anywhere from 1 to two times a year. Delightful and delicious everytime. This year we had to opportunity to drive to the winery and do the tasting. What a joyful beautiful wonderful experience. We didn't want to leave The atmosphere was that of perfection. I can't wait until our next visit in a couple of years. They have all kinds of wonderful cheese..and spreads and horseradish; yum!! The personal touchs and the fabulous customer service were the icing on the cake...Beautiful people! Thank you so much for making our visit to...

Very nice and unique building. The staff on the other hand wasn't that nice or friendly. Not sure if we came at a bad time or what. Stopped through on our way home from Eagle River. Will never stop again after the experience my wife and I had. Wife had some questions about some of the wines and it was a one word, snippy reply. Not helpful at all. No effort to explain or inform us of the wines. Very rude and degrading and there is no excuse for that kind of behavior. Another family member had the same experience a few months prior. Still left with 6 bottles of wine for some reason. Will never visit, support, or purchase anything from this...
