Fika Bakery & Coffee — Restaurant in Town of Three Lakes

Fika is one of my most favorite stops when we come up to the Northwoods. This trip I discovered how incredibly easy it is to place a bakery order and an order for the latte in a jug. It’s brilliant. The best part is the gluten free options they have and so I indulged and ordered a dozen gluten free strawberry basil muffins. This place is an absolute GEM. All the baked goods are so truly special and quality. A swedish bakery in the middle of Up north, WI, its so great! They have seasonal specials which are always delicious. Bakery options in store are limited. You can place special online orders as well. We heard about this place from a neighbor and it was great! Excellent gluten free French silk pie!! Sweet, airy creamy filling with a deliciously balanced crust that had a hint of salt. The only thing that could be improved would be if the crust was just a bit softer, so I could easily get a piece of the crust in every bite. However, it's gluten free, which is generally more challenging to bake. We'll be back next week to try...
