Deja Brew Coffee & More — Restaurant in Town of Three Lakes

No Coffee at a “Coffee Shop.” Let me explain: We stopped on our way back through going north at about 1:15pm. There were three of us that wanted coffee including a gentleman who was not in our party. When I asked for a cup of coffee, they said “oh, sorry we’re out of coffee for the day..” She then went on to explain that the owner had instructed them not to make coffee past a certain time...I think it was somewhere close to 40 to 45 min before closing. Listen folks...3 purchased cups of coffee would have more than paid for that pot of coffee she could have made for us. Besides having the best coffee in a 3 county area, the folks at Deja Brew are the best! We travel to the Eagle River area from Georgia at least once each year, and always make a point to stop in. This year I left my wallet, complete with driver's license, credit cards, etc. on the counter at Deja Brew. When I discovered my mistake about 200 miles down the road, I called the coffee house. Everyone was so cooperative; they had my wallet in the mail the next morning (at their expense) and it was waiting for me, perfectly intact of course, in our p.o. box when I returned home.
