Glendale Park — Attraction in Town of Union

Every year, UE hosts a baseball tournament at this park for Little League. The baseball fields are BEAUTIFUL. Every year, mother nature is totally unco-operative and there is a heat wave and horrific thunderstorms. The volunteer crew at this park keep the baseball field beautiful and playable DESPITE flooding and all the havoc the weather throws at them. When the fields are NOT being used by Little league teams, it is a fantastic place to bring your kids and their friends for a game of ball, or just to hang out on the swingsets or have a picnic. Glendale Park is a decent park. There is a playground for the kids, as well as bathrooms. The thing that detracts from the park are the baseball fields. Glendale Park has recently made quite a few renovations, so now there is a system of paved pathways and new picnic tables.
