There use to be a really nice hug playground there and more little kid and family friendly. These days it all got took out , replaced with a new very small play ground set. It's less than half of the size it once was. They do have a free waiting pool, and pay to swim big pool those are nice and kept up! The most unfortunate thing is there are a lot of teen/young adults that do come to hang out. However I'm not sure if they even have the programs they once did during the summer to get and keep the teens involved. Such as tennis lessions they use to have all little teams to play all different games ,physical, active, games with running and team work... I can't remember the name of the program I did this as I was growing up and swimming lessions and swimming like all the time. Now you see the youth gathering in little groups and catch the inappropriate language. I don't see where they take the time to do much to keep it so family's are always these and picnics, playing kids with other kids. Just not what it once was. They have the pools going for them. Mini playgrounds mini grills but it's usually half dead at least there, it's sad to see what it once was, to what it is now. Not a huge community effort in getting the kids really involved. Heck they once even had an ice cream truck that went around the park and town of Warsaw, they made a little snack hut cheap little things for the kids that would go down to really be involved and having genuine fun! It's too bad my girls , my Neices, other family and friends kids do not get to enjoy all the little things that made it special. Hopefully one day someone will remember all the joys and start bringing them back! It sure would save the issues of teens being bored and getting into the major drug issues that start and end up growing bigger and bigger and the sad reality that comes...

Really under utilized park. Public swimming pool that offers seasonal pass, and a FREE wading pool that is about 2.5 to 3 ft. deep at the deepest part. Great FREE summer programs for kids (arts and crafts, recreation sports), as well as swimming lessons which are offered at A VERY reasonable price. Pools are open 7 days a week. Life guards are wonderful. Tennis courts, baseball diamonds, picnic areas (some with charcoal grills), basketball courts-- all free. The large pavilion and the Legion Hall can be booked for parties (not free). In the winter, there's a sledding hill. The road around the park was actually a racetrack for horses, so two loops around the park and you've walked a mile. There's also an exercise station with guides on how to utilize the equipment. It's a great place for casually taking care of your health. New swings and playground equipment (Thank you Kiwanis!) that includes a little zip-line. There's a smaller, toddler friendly playground by the pavilion. There's an antique car show every August, and the Fourth of July Carnival with a parade that ends in the park, and the carnival ends with a fireworks display. During the carnival, the Fireman have a food tent and a beer tent that hosts live music. You can rent the "beer tent" for parties, too. The Warsaw Falls are NOT in the park, and are on...

The park is ok. Large lots of open running space across the baseball fields. Basketball courts could be updated. Tennis courts seem to be in ok condition. The tiny playground near the pools is ok. I think that it could be better. While it is newer and updated, it lacks in actual size and playability. A slide that isn't really a great idea for all children, a bar that you can swing and spin on and this thing that you can climb up and sit on, that's open and children could potentially fall off from and get really hurt. While I realize that is possible at any playground, I truly do not like my children climbing on it. The pools are decent, but I believe that they need better lifeguards on duty, or at least some that can actually see when a child is in distress. There was a smaller child playing in the pool, and had slipped under the water, she panicked and couldn't seem to find her balance to stay above the water and was visibly upset and panicky. The lifeguards just say in there chairs watching, offering no help. The mother was watching and ran out into the pool fully clothed and got her out of the water. The little one was crying and spitting out water. Not a single lifeguard made sure everything was ok! Need...

This is the ultimate park☺️With something appropriate to offer for all age groups. The playground is so much fun! Swings, children's zip line, seesaw, pavilion, tennis court, baseball field and plenty of additional space. Not to mention the amazing hike leading up to a beautiful waterfall and fun creek. Although, it was our first visit to the park we couldn't help but to climb down by the train tracks towards the landing above the faIls. It's quite a dangerous route however, it was super adventurous and a bit scary with actually rock climbing back up a part of the mountain. Mountain climbing is really not recommended but extremely fun for the careful, dareful ones. Definitely not for children! Although, there are some safer routes along the trail.

One of my favorite parks from the hill climb leading to the upper cliff trail that runs to the railroad tracks where youll find a beautiful waterfall. To the left of the hill is a shorter trail leading to the creek . Perfect for dog walkers, or an adventure in water shoes. This park has tennis, baseball, softball , plagrounds , public older bathrooms. Also two pools that are always closed sadly. But picnic areas and lots of trails make it a great park with a circle loop thats one way.

We came to hike to the falls and we're not familiar with the trails, so we parked in the park and went uphill where there is an obvious opening/trail. We kept going up instead of taking the first trail we came to on our left. We eventually came to railroad tracks where there's a steep way down leading to the top of the waterfall. We worked out way back to the trail and headed down to the creek and followed it to the waterfalls. Totally worth the trek!
