Let me start off by saying me and my boyfriend used to come here all the time. Loved their breakfast food. We haven't been there in probably 2 years because the last few times we have had a bad experience. As in their food had gone down hill. 2 years later we thought we'd give it a try again. Such a waste of time and money that was.

We called and placed an order. Roast beef sandwich smothered with gravy with a side of fries and a turkey sandwich smothered with gravy with a side of fries. They told us 15 minutes. We go pick it up after exactly 15 minutes because we knew we were buying hot sandwiches and they could get mushy if they sat around awhile. We pay and drive home (2 minutes down the road) go to eat and both sandwiches are basically pre chewed piles of mush. We couldn't even pick up the sandwiches it was LITERALLY a pile of mush. So I think to myself, okay I'm not going to be picky, I'll just replace the breads with my own bread and call it good. We go to eat a fry, they're cold and undercooked. There is no crisp to them, just soggy straws of potato. At that point we decided the food was not edible and paying 31 dollars plus tax for them both, we decided to take it back for a refund. We take the food back and talk to Nick (owner/ manager maybe?) And he tries to make up excuses as to why the food is gross, saying that it sat a while so that's why it's soggy. We weren't having it and insisted on a full refund. He tries to give us 50% of our money back and accused us of eating half the food. I took one but of a single fry and spit it out and my bf took one but of the sandwich glob and spit that out. He agrees to a refund and walks away. He left us standing there for about 10 minutes before he came back and gave us our money back. For some reason he only gave us 28 dollars back. We paid 31 dollars and some change. I think that's the part that ticked me off the most. Not giving us what we paid for back when we gave all of the nasty food back. So not only does their food suck, they also take your money when you tell them their food is gross. Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from. Our experience was quite different. We were passing through on a Sunday afternoon hoping to get a decent, not gourmet, meal while traveling. It seemed busy so my husband went in to get a table while I parked the car. The hostess ignored him and tried to seat two ladies who came in several minutes after he did. They very graciously told her to seat us first. Again, she tried to seat them and they insisted we be seated first. Our waitress was barely civil. The fried chicken was inedible. It was exactly like the turkey in the National Lampoon Christmas Vacation movie - so dry that a fork couldn't pierce the chicken breast! It was more like fried chicken bones. The chicken parm was tasteless. The waitress never returned to ask if our meal was ok or to refill our drinks. It took forever to get the check and since that was the first we'd seen her since she slapped our plates on the table I told her then that the chicken was not edible. She snarled that she'd adjust the check. She then proceeded to take the order of a table of 10 people! The hostess came and asked if we'd like a drink refill and we told her we just wanted the check, we'd been waiting a long time and the food was inedible. The waitress finally threw the check on the table without a word, no apology, nothing. I was really just going to let it go, pay for the meal, say, "It is what it is," but the unbelievable rudeness of the waitress (hostility is a more accurate description) was intolerable and was the impetus for my complaint and writing this review. I'm sorry if she was having a bad day or if she felt she should be starring on Broadway or performing neurosurgery instead of being a waitress, but we were not demanding or rude and expected to be treated respectfully. I come into this restaurant once every other week for the past 11 weeks! coming from Brooklyn NY, visiting a family member at Attica Correctional Fac. There’s a waitress named Lori who always seemed bothered to take my order from day one but I didn’t let that bother me... up until this morning. I was using the restroom, I happened to be in the rest room for quite some time because once again I’m coming from a 6 hour drive from Brooklyn so I use the restroom to freshen up. Lori banged on the door and told me I’m taking to long and I’m holding up the restroom. I then immediately stepped out the restroom and there was absolutely no one waiting to use the restroom. When I asked Lori how was I holding up the restroom when there was no one waiting. She said “i don’t know, maybe i needed to use the restroom but you can’t be in there for that long.” There was maybe 6-8 people as a total in the entire restaurant. And if someone had to use the bathroom they would’ve knocked just like one of the employees did before Lori knocked. I stepped out and allowed her to use the restroom. Lori was absolutely rude, and unprofessional! I definitely felt targeted today so I will never return here, I’m embarrassed and hurt behind the way I was handled. I never once was greeted so there should be a lot more training going on. I did speak with the store manager, he apologized and stated he would speak with her.. I hope that no one else have to experience what I did today. It was so uncomfortable and unnecessary... Thanks Lori!!!
