There are lots of stores that give the impression that they are selling locally grown vegetables but often the produce is coming off a truck that schlepped their produce from hundreds of miles away. This is ABSOLUTELY not the case of the Hillside Farmstand where over the last week of our fabulous vacation in Truro, we have purchased locally grown strawberries as well as other farm produce that is delicious. Quality is often hit or miss, as some of the produce/bread has gone bad quickly and every time we get bread or rolls they have no expiration dates and some are in brandless, unlabeled bags. Odd.
