Desert View Visitor Center — Attraction in Tuba City

Desert View offers maybe one of the best views of the Grand Canyon, especially in the morning when the sun is shining from the east and lighting up the canyon. You will find this center just inside the Desert View Watchtower that is staffed by Park Rangers. Every time we have been here, we have been impressed with the Ranger’s professionalism, and just how friendly and helpful they are. Busy VC. For the tours to the top of the tower I’d suggest getting there early. There are groups of 25 total which can go up at a time, which are every 20 minutes.
