This is another gift shop and convenience store within throwing distance of the market and deli store, which are both located near the Desert View Watch Tower. We grabbed some ice cream here after enjoying the incredible views, and it totally hit the spot. The shop itself has a fun, classic park vibe with plenty of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs, all in a super convenient location near the Desert View parking area.

   Read moreWe were here on the last weekend of April 2021 and both the shop and restaurant were open (the watchtower is still closed). Of course the desert view is one of best views in the park and you should be stopping here for that reason alone, but it's worth a visit to the trading post for ice cream and the shop is great for Native American pottery and gifts as a lot of the merchandise is unique to this shop and can't be found at the visitor centers.
