Chapman Adventure Playground — Attraction in Tulsa

Amazing that this is offered to families at no cost. This place is huge and creative and definitely a must see. However there are some practicality concerns and parking can be time consuming. First of all if you have several kids it will be hard to keep track of them as this park isn't a typical park where you can see your children at all times, you must follow your kids from below as they move because they will get on tall rope bridges and play structures that take them far away from their original location hence comes my 2nd observation, there are multiple entrances to the park basically in one big circle around the area and there is nothing stopping someone from coming in nor gates, quite scary if you lose your child. My biggest recommendation is to bring as many people to watch your kids as the # of your kids so each child has an adult keeping an eye on them. Also some structures are designed for older children, it makes sense because they are unlikely to fall or go off with a stranger. I saw parents take toddlers on these tall structures barely squeezing through areas meant for 8 to 12 years olds & creating a bottleneck for the children trying to climb behind them. There are plenty of areas designed for younger children as well so please respect the age ranges, if your child is too young to enter the bigger structures safely on their own it's better to stick to the structures in their age range and keep the area free of 250 pound adults climbing above children in tiny tubes meant...

The Adventure Playground is inside of the Gathering Place, a huge Nature Park in Tulsa. This playground has wide walkways that accommodate strollers and groups. The towers, structures, and bridges are generally large enough for an active parent to climb into in order to accompany a very young child. One favorite involves a tower with a water pump and system of gears funneling water down the side. Adventure playground at the gathering place is uniquely fun for all ages. You may be an adult and tell yourself you're not going to go play on the playground, trust me just go with it and play cuz it's so fun you feel like you're in the Peter pan movie, or maybe Robin Hood movie😎 This place let's families interact with each other and play on the same playground it is so fun.
