Me and my fiancé just moved to Tyler and we have 2 dogs. One is a 1 year old pup that is a black lab Great Dane mix that just wants to play and see everyone. Our second dog is a 10 mouth old full blood German Shepherd that loves to play too. Read moreBossart Park is usually always a fun experience. There is plenty of room to roam on both the large dog section as well as the smaller dog area. There are also 4-5 benches for the humans and plenty to drink at the watering hole (dog fountain). My only complaint and concern is the stickers. Today I had to remove them from my dogs paws (all of them) several times. My poor dog would be running full speed and then abruptly stop, unable to walk a step further until the thorny stickers were removed. Needless to say this takes all the fun out of going to the park. Read moreI love the park but I am sick of seeing owners who come with their dog allowing them to randomly attack other dogs and not removing them, restraining or even watching them. Have seen multiple incidents with dogs either attack my dog or others. My dog is a sweetheart and is non aggressive and shouldn't be exposed to that. Rules state no aggressive dogs and that's not being applied at all. I wish there was a way to monitor dogs for proof and blacklist owners who do not comply with rules. I want my dog or others to feel safe. Is that so much to ask for owners to be responsible and respect the rules....
