My family of 7 attended a breakfast with santa at the foundry. We have done many of these over the years and love this tradition as a family but will not be attending one at this location again.
Pros - beautiful setting & space great santa that interacted with the kids well and read a story. they had the grinch too. My son loved that.
Cons - food wasnt good, (sausage cold in middle) and they ran out of what they did have ( orange juice, bacon, and french toast) fairly quickly. They didn't have a hot chocolate bar which Christmas breakfasts scream hot chocolate to me. My kids and husband were bummed. They served it on paper plates. The venues we have attended previously were similarly priced, huge food selection and fancy. No paper plates. Then, it wasn't clear what exactly was included with our breakfast. I bought some hot coco bombs after the breakfast one for each of my family and then after paying the lady told me to grab the ones included with our ticket. I didnt know they were included so she ended up refunding me thankfully but it just wasn't super clear what exactly was included. Overall we left feeling like we spent more than we should have for the...
Read moreI cannot recommend choosing The Foundry enough! Ashlee and her team were so easy to work with and they were dedicated to ensuring our vision for our event was executed in any way they could help. We were able to tour the venue space via appointment but I found their booked couples open house events (held monthly) incredibly helpful as it allowed us to nail down details and decorating as our event got closer. Their “something borrowed” closet makes decorating for such a large event so much easier and cheaper. Plus they have so many options for many different styles. The mezzanine adds a perfect third location for guests to enjoy themselves and the view outside from the main floor. Having a stocked bride and grooms room for getting ready also was a huge plus. All in all this venue space was incredibly beautiful yet customizable to whatever aesthetic you are picturing for yourself and the crew is organized, kind...
Read moreI photographed a wedding at the Foundry and it was absolutely amazing! There is so much space and I loved that there are white walls and brick instead laving a yellow cast on faces. It was also so nice that there was a second floor that you can view the main area in a different perspective. Shooting this wedding was so fun and I ended up booking it for my own wedding as well!!! Ashlee, the owner, was so helpful to answer all my questions (and I had lots for her). The best and most helpful part was that they had open houses each month that you can go into the space and plan while you are there. This included using any of their stuff in the closet of decor. And there was a lot to choose from. This helped us save money by using their decor and it turned out so well! I will continue recommending this venue to all my clients...
