Tasting at The Madrones makes the experience even better. It’s such a charming, tucked-away spot — one of those rare places that still feels personal and genuine, even magical. You can wander through the gardens, grab a bite nearby (Philo’s food scene is truly exceptional!), and settle in with a flight that showcases some of the best Pinots coming out of the valley.
Moreo is fantastic, a total gem — incredibly knowledgeable about both the wines and the winemaking process, but never pretentious. He has that easy local warmth that makes you want to linger and talk vineyards all afternoon.
