Chambers Bay has changed so much since I first visited 12 years ago. We went at 4 pm on September 19th, thinking it might be cold there as it's always cold in Chambers Bay, but surprisingly, the weather was perfect. We brought our small little tent and had a picnic on a bench. Lots of people enjoying the park, jogging, walking, flying kites, lots of people with dogs (on leash, of course), and a few children running around. It's a big park to see. Clean washrooms. The bridge was nice as you can watch to see incoming trains. It's pretty cool for both adults and kids. They've created these tall structures to hold padlocks. Maybe people like putting their names there like in other tourist attractions? I'm not sure. Overall, it's a very clean park with lots of garbage bins, we even saw some staff collecting garbage. In the evening it gets pretty windy and cold so that was our sign to leave although lots more people are just coming into the parking lot. The ruins of and old building or whatever was there before, are still there not sure why but seemed to be an attraction of the Bay.? One thing though I'm not sure why our white shoes had red stuff when we went home, something with the grass or the soil? But yeah, maybe don't wear whites...

Great place for all ages, paved walkways and trails, some areas are shaded by green lush and trees. There is a Children's Park on the left side of the trails if you get off Grandview DR W and Beckonridge. Park and Trails hours are at dusk. Please be mindful that you take your trash to the various trash bins available all over the Trailhead. Wheelchair access and Dog friendly. There is a Dog park as well. Toilets are available and there is water stands for all including our fur babies.
