Located in a picturesque setting along the Darby Creek is the 17th century-built Lower Swedish Cabin. This dwelling was constructed circa 1650 and has been meticulously restored and cared for by the Friends of the Lower Swedish Cabin. The methods of construction and the cramped interior of the small cabin truly give the sense of what life was like for early settlers of the region! The one thing that makes me so mad though is in the remote areas near my house,I always find tons of garbage. Recently, I came across a case of empty beer cans, some thrown in the water. I truly just dont understand the thought process where you ruin a park for your neighbors and don't care about mother earth. Pick up after yourself....
