Panhandle Watersports — Attraction in Upper Grand Lagoon

9/11/25 We had the absolute best experience on our Thurman family sunset cruise with Panhandle Water Sports! Our captain, Aspen, went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. He took us to all the great spots around St. Andrew’s Bay in Panama City Beach, where we had the thrill of watching dolphins play and even jump in the wake of passing boats. Aspen personally dove down to gather sea urchins from the seabed for us to see up close, which was such a special touch.

The highlight of the evening was the breathtaking sunset, and Aspen made sure we had the perfect spot to enjoy the view. What really stood out was the way he cared for our whole group, especially my 84- and 87-year-old parents who have mobility challenges. He treated them with patience, respect, and genuine kindness, ensuring they were comfortable and included in every part of the adventure.

Our family of older folks thoroughly enjoyed the entire cruise, and we are so grateful for Aspen’s professionalism, knowledge of the area, and warm personality. Do not recommend. Not only was it impossible to get in touch with someone, I postponed my reservation a day due to weather and was told I could come the next day no problem. Finally confirm that I could still go the next day and that my reservation would still be good. Arrived at the location listed on their website with no one there. Few minutes go by and someone shows up to tell us they don’t have the equipment or paperwork that I need to go to the next location. Walk at least half a mile down the beach to the next location just to be told the online reservation doesn’t matter and that there are no available skis for my reservation and that it’s already fully booked the rest of the day as they only had two jet skis. Not only were we unable to utilize the reservation, I wasn’t even refunded the full amount that I paid. Worst vacation experience with a tourist attraction. Why offer online reservations if they don’t even guarantee...

Would give ZERO if possible. Absolute circus of an establishment. Bought tickets online just to get the kiosk and the guy told us we could only go for half the time we paid for. Said we could come back later in the week to ride more. So we came back and the guys didn’t let us go out due to water conditions. Both of the blonde hair guys at the kiosk have terrible attitudes answering every question with arrogance. Telling me I should have just come to the kiosk and bought tickets instead of paying for them online. I don’t see what the point of offering them online if it’s a problem in the first place. I say all this just to say they won’t even give us a refund for the $200 we are out. Nothing online said no refunds but they used the waiver we signed to go out on the jetskis the first time as there “document” that states no refunds.
