Full disclosure - I had a better experience here than my companions did, especially when it came to the food. But they're not writing this review, so here we are with a solid, positive rating. I came here for a few hours early Saturday afternoon right when Crossing Vineyards opened (we literally might have been their first customers) for a bit of wine and a bite to eat. I'd been here once before several years ago in the winter for a tasting, but it was a pretty brief visit that honestly didn't leave much of an impression either way. And I think anyone who goes to wineries fairly regularly would tell you that it's a VERY different vibe going in the winter versus summer, especially if you have the opportunity (as we did this time around) to take advantage of the outdoor seating. Interestingly, we went through several different interior areas in the winery before emerging outside into their patio section, and each of those areas had their own unique environment. There was a room that seemed kind of bougie/Sunday brunch, and another that was more cozy with a ski lodge influence. Nice touch. The service here was excellent across the board. We were immediately greeted by a woman at the entrance who provided us with several options (essentially a guided tasting versus a DIY experience; we chose the latter) and told us if we wished to order food to just scan the barcode at the table and it would be brought out to us (I have a friend who is an older Millennial but is pretty much 90 years old in every other way who yowled about not having a physical menu, but again - not writing this review and probably wouldn't know how to do it online anyway) . It was very easy to use, and everything came out promptly. I wasn't looking to booze hardcore and it was pretty toasty out, so I opted for a wine slushee-esque drink that was on the sweeter side and pretty peachy. Very pleasant and hit the spot. I was a big fan of the BBQ chicken flatbread, which I'd had my eye on for several days prior to this excursion. I'm unfortunately learning that decent food, or any food really, isn't an automatic at a winery, so I tend to give a lot of credit for a legit accompanying menu. The flatbread was filling, but also on the lighter side so it was perfect for what I was looking for that day. We also got a charcuterie board to split, which was okay, but as you can see from the accompanying picture, it was light on the meats. I don't claim to be a charcuterie expert, but I feel like you want a pretty solid equilibrium between the meat and the cheese, but the cheese options vastly outnumbered the one or two slices of meat on the board. It was fine for what it was though. I'd also mention that upon request, we were able to get some free water during our meal, which (like the food) isn't a guarantee. So right there, you're checking off a few intangible boxes. The price point for everything was pretty reasonable. It can go either way in this area, as you're in a rural enough section of the Delaware Valley that items can be pretty cheap, but you're also a stone's throw from the tourist trap one-two punch of Lambertville and New Hope. I think I ended up paying about $30 or $35 for the flatbread entrée and wine, which isn't egregious in my book. I'd have no objection to coming back here, especially since I missed out on sampling most of the wine options.

Came on a Sunday, there was no one there. 1. Service/wine/food quality: you can order food at any table in the winery digitally, which is cool. Except this is a winery and you'd want to get some info on the wines (e.g., residual sugars, vintage, etc.) and some information on the food. Ended up ordering a bottle of Pinot Grigio that was too sweet for us. The description of the wine had nothing on how dry it was so we assumed it was their driest product since they had a semi-sweet Riesling on the menu. On the food service side -- one of our dishes did not come out because apparently the ticket didn't print. Once we pointed it out the food was brought. The charcuterie ended up OK, the BBQ chicken flatbread was flat -- very soggy and overly sweet. 2. Experience: winery is beautiful especially the outside. Inside there are several rooms that are connected but it's unclear which one you should be using for the best experience. There was a live musician there but she was in a back room all by herself. Out of respect we went to that back room to listen to the music. I don't understand why she wasn't allowed to play in the main area as there was nothing going on at the time. Very weird.

Went to a 5:30pm wedding there last weekend and there was a horrible smell in the parking lot and on walkway to the ceremony site. Smells like backed up sewer line. Persisted all night. Almost unbearable. Several drunk ppl from wine tasting were allowed to wander in wedding tent. Sign posted said outdoor grounds close at 4 and winery closes at 6. However staff did nothing when about 10 wine tasting customers sat on wall to watch 5:30 wedding ceremony and talk loudly (and drunkly). Staff also did nothing about drunk ppl screaming in parking lot during ceremony. Comical because the owner will not allow DJ to play music at enjoyable level. No one was able to hear parent/child dances. DJ said this is because owner’s home is directly next to wedding tent. This place is beautiful but they need a serious customer service overhaul. If you want a fun peaceful wedding you should look elsewhere!

We want to start with saying that we are giving 5 stars FOR MARGO (our wonderful sales manager)!!!! In addition we really appreciate her counterpart Kate (who was very helpful whenever Margo was not around), the venue was BEAUTIFUL, the wine was delicious, the planning process was so easy, the bridal suite was spectacular and the tent/venue was breathtaking!! ALL THOSE ASPECTS ARE FIVE STAR!! The ONLY reason we are giving a four star review is because of the owner. We met the owner during our planning meeting/wine tasting and when he told us he is present for most weddings we were very excited about that!! We did not find out until the following day/s what had happened. The owner had told the band (that was recommended by the venue) to lower their sound. They weren't even loud!!! They are a BAND! No one should approach our vendors, that we are paying, without consulting us. Mind you they were told during the 5-6pm cocktail hour to quiet down, so it wasn't breaking any noise ordinance. We were also informed that some "vapors" we have among our family/friends were told that there was a smoking section for cigarettes only, no vaping. That is a bit crazy! The end of the night was when things got hectic. Mother of the bride felt very rushed, specifically from the owner, and got extremely anxious! Mother of the groom was told, from the owner, that we cannot get a cart to help us bring all the items from the tent to the cars to load out. We were basically told you are SOL! We understand he is the owner and we greatly appreciate him welcoming us to his venue but it is not professional to invade anyone's event, in a negative way. For a venue that does weddings often it would've been nice for him to understand that we need time and a cart to get everything out. We were disappointed to hear the negative feedback, which only involved him, when he was someone we thought had supported us. We do highly recommend Crossing Vineyards but please be aware that the owner may be present at your wedding. Be prepared to rush out at closing time and bring your own carts. We do want to finish with saying that MARGO is ABSOLUTELY...

Recently went to a wedding here, as a newly engaged couple, we were excited to go and see if it was a possible location for our upcoming nuptials. While the place was beautiful, everything else just was not up to par.

First, at the cocktail hour, we were given the option of a few wines and a signature cocktail which had grapefruit and cranberry juice. I am not a fan of Grapefruit at all and asked if they could leave it out, I was told a flat out no. Lol as someone who has worked off and on in the food service industry doing everything from serving to catering and bar tending, it was absolutely absurd that they just refused to leave a simple juice out.

So the bar inside of the winery was open until 6pm, so we decided to take a walk inside to take in the place and also purchase a couple of mixed drinks. We were told since we were with the wedding party, we were not allowed to go inside and purchase drinks, we HAD to stay outside. I found this to be absolutely ridiculous and I incredulously asked the female bartender if she was serious. You are serving drinks to people there who were not part of the wedding party, but was refusing to allow paying customers, regardless of whether we were there for the wedding or not to go in and buy drinks and look around?? This just made absolutely no sense at all. I even tried to reiterate that we were going to pay for our drinks, and she again flatly told us we had to stay outside. As we walked away I had to wonder what this ridiculous rule was about and found it very hard to believe that the owner or manager of the vineyard would really refuse to serve paying customers, wedding party or not. I don’t think any of us were asking anything out of the ordinary, it honestly just makes no sense.

I will say This place was beautiful, the way the ceremony was decorated with the arch and chairs, was gorgeous, but honestly the way they catered to the guests was just unacceptable. Hopefully this review will be taken seriously and they will improve upon this for their...
