Have tried twice in the past two months.. The first time, my husband ordered me chicken tacos. The tortillas were falling apart and spongey. I didnt like the texture or taste of the tortillas. I believe they were corn tortillas, not flour, so it just might not be my cup of tea. Tonight, i wanted to try something new to see if it was any better. I got a taco salad and we split nachos. He had the tacos eith a side or queso. The nachos weren't terrible, but the beans were applied heavily in two distinct areas which made the rest of the food soggy. Unfortunately, taco salad with chicken was inedible. Essentially, a half cup of soggy lettuce with sour cream tomatoes and a cup of overly salted chicken. The chicken was so salty it made me sick. I had two bites and had to stop. (The picture shown was after just two bites). The taco shell bowl was also 3x the size of the actual salad, which made it seem like portions werent being followed. My husbands tacos were okay, but the queso was definitely not what was expected. Picture of that in comments. For the prices, we expected more for the money and better quality. I dont think we will be trying for a third.

Cinco de Mayo in Washington Crossing delivers an unforgettable dining experience, and the Carne Enchilada Con Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo is a standout dish! The spicy pork is tender and packed with bold flavors, perfectly complemented by the shrimp sautéed in a rich garlic mojo sauce. The sides—fluffy rice, creamy beans, fresh salad, and avocado—tie everything together beautifully, creating a well-rounded and satisfying meal. The flavors are authentic, the presentation is vibrant, and the attention to detail is clear in every bite. If you’re looking for a dish that truly showcases the excellence of Cinco de Mayo’s kitchen, this is it! Highly recommend!

They couldn’t handle the demand this evening. This was the most chaotic and loud place. They said my order would be ready in 30 mins for pick up. I got to the restaurant and there were a ton of people behind the counter working and just as many waiting for takeout orders but no food was coming out. They said when I arrived it would only be a few mins. at the 50 min mark they said it would be a few more mins again, no apology or anything. At almost 60 mins I asked if my order was started and they said they just started it but it would be 10 more mins. The woman behind the counter still didn’t offer anything up like an apology or acknowledge how long I had been waiting. So I left without food because the way they handled the situation. They need to get their act...
