PLEASE NO BIG DOGS IN THE SMALL DOG AREA. I got your attention? Great. It’s a good park and we have met very nice people but please read the rules and be respectful of other people’s space. All the dogs play well until someone brings a medium or big dog into the small dog area. “It’s ok, my dog is friendly.” As friendly and nice the big dogs might be, once they play with the small dogs they become too rough and aggressive and fights brake out. The small dogs become a moving target. This is not ok and your friendly dog is in fact a nuisance and violent towards my dog. This has happened just about every time we visit. At the very least, the small dogs get stomped on. My pup has scars from bigger dogs brought to that small dog area. Big dog owners get upset when anyone says anything but the truth is, everyone is waiting for you to leave with your big dog. And yes, we all talk about you when you leave. Read moreTo the woman in the black Millersville hoodie w/ the Bassett Hound puppy on Sunday 11/14: This isn't your dog park. You also made the mistake of not using the small-dog dog park on the other side of the driveway. Before you arrived, this park was phenomenal.
Dogs played like nobody's business and the owners were all keeping an eye on their own companions. Plenty of open space for play and clean for the most part (besides a mud puddle from the recent rain). Owners cleaned up after their dogs. Separate area for small dogs...

There are 2 separate, large fields for large dogs, in which access is alternated to maintain the fields. However, there is not much grass left in either field and it is usually a muddy mess. Plan to give your dog a bath after playing in either field. (The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.) There is also a separate fenced in field for small dogs. This field is not used nearly as much and has much less wear. When this field is not occupied, I sometimes take my medium sized dog into that one, as she loves to chase and catch a tossed frisbee, which is nearly impossible to do with other dogs ...
