I'm a happy member of their CSA (I'm participating in both the summer and fall CSA this year). The produce my family receives is excellent and bountiful, and Sola Gratia sends out recipe suggestions via email to go along with each week's items. Those tips are also posted in the Facebook Group for CSA members. I always have some extra produce from each week's box that I end up freezing so I know we'll benefit from their hard work during the winter as well. Sola Gratia does excellent work fighting food insecurity in our community and I'm happy that my CSA membership can contribute to that mission. They host lots of open houses and other events (including plant sales!) so it's very easy to get to know the people who grow your produce and their methods; I recently attended a tour of the farm and operations and got to learn about future plans, washing and packing, and see their new solar array. Beyond that, their team does a great job of sharing information via email newsletters and updates. Overall, this farm operation is an extremely valuable member of the Champaign-Urbana community, and their dedication shines through in their excellent produce and programming.
