This place surprised me in the best way! Lots of veg options and the veggies were fresh and well seasoned. I loved the snow peas and garlic and the bean curd in garlic. The bbq pork ribs were dry and didn’t seem super freshly made. They were flavorful though. This place has no atmosphere and doesn’t even have real chopsticks and forks which is disappointing that they are so wasteful. Overall loved the veggie options and would recommend takeout

The food is okay for Chinese takeout. It’s fresh and hot, but feels like there’s too much msg. The service is okay. They assumed I wanted a large and charged me for that instead of a small, when it would’ve been nice if they asked. The atmosphere is really poor. Feels run down and dirty. I’d get it again for takeout if I’m in a hurry, but otherwise wouldn’t go out of my way.

You know that small town thing where every town no matter how small has 1 Chinese restaurant that has been open forever, nestled in the strip mall, next to whatever department store that has no marketing but none the less stands the test of time; This is that place and its great.

Food: 5 stars. Authentically American Chinese food. Greasy, glorious, necessary. From the delicious wonton soup broth that has been passed down for generations to the smoke ring on the roast pork. This place has that unadulterated flavor profile from the 1990s and man is it good. Ya'll growing up in the Midwest in the 90s and early 2000s know what I'm talking about. So 100% if you're looking for Chinese food of years past to get that flavor of your hometown you haven't visited in a while. Here it is.

Service: 5 Stars. Quick and efficient. Everything fired fresh and hot to order. Its a family run business so its got a family touch to it.

Atmosphere: 5 Stars. For those of you who didn't grow up with your small town Chinese place might not understand that the look of this place is super antique. From the washed out illuminated menu signs that have never had a day of rest since the 80s to present to the drink cooler that's done the same. All of this tells you the food is going to be amazing at a good price. Yes this isn't you new fangled fancy sit down Chinese place but that's not what its here for. This place is here for the lost souls at 2 am who look into their fridge delighted to see leftover Chinese food. This place is here for when you just need that afternoon egg roll that you know is gonna just hit the...

If I could give this place -100 stars - I would. Yesterday was my first time visiting this horrible place of a restaurant. First, the lady taking orders was rude, short and very unprofessional. She gave me a total of $11.05 but then took two phone calls while charging my card. After looking at the receipt I saw that she charged me over $23 for the $11 meal I ordered. She then tried to argue with me, saying I was never charged and that she just gave me the wrong receipt. Not true, the text I instantly got from Chase showed she did charge me over $23. No apology or nothing. After receiving the food, the portion was wayyy smaller than the exaggerated reviews on Yelp. The fried rice was yellow NOT brown like real authentic Chinese restaurants. I really should have just went to Rainbow Garden in Urbana, they never disappoint. The fried rice was also hard and dry. The beef looked weird. Also, they DON'T have real sweet & sour sauce, they have duck sauce instead. This was my 1st and last time visiting this horrible place. Everything about this entire experience screamed "WORST CHINESE RESTURANT I'VE EVER VISITED." save yourself the headache and disappointment and just go...

Gross food. Pork fried rice had way too many onions and were way too large pieces of onion. Got orange chicken with pork fried rice and lemon chicken with pork fried rice for me and my roommate. Got home and one of them was quite literally just regular fried chicken pieces with no flavor. There was a sweet and sour sauce in there with 3 slices of lime cut up and stuck in there. I called to ask and let them know they made a mistake, and was told that sweet and sour sauce with lemons in it is the "lemon chicken"' I don't appreciate being lied to instead of them owning up to the mistake they made. If that really is how they make lemon chicken they need a crash course. I had lemon chicken from many other places and that is most definitely not it. Also even if it is, the employee told me sweet and sour sauce with lemons cut into it constitutes their lemon chicken sauce, this one had literally just three slices of LIME. Either way they screwed up and wouldn't own up. I can't stand sweet and sour sauce so I...
