We went specifically for the space-themed playground for a playdate with another family. I'm writing this review to caution other families with young children about a safety hazard. I didn't see it at first, until my 6-year-old was free-falling like a rag doll out of the structure that has a capsule with a metal enclosed slide attached to it and black rope netting to climb up to it from the ground. Within this capsule, there is a netting you can climb onto, or a platform area where you can access the slide to go down. He was on the netted part, stepped down, and went right through the opening of the capsule where you climb in from the ropes. So, from 20' up (or whatever it is...very high) he free-fell straight down toward the ground. Another child (fortunately and unfortunately) broke his fall and he frantically grabbed onto rope causing significant rope burn in his groin and underarms. My husband somehow teleported himself from several yards away to catch him before he hit the ground. We will never allow our children back on that...
Read moreThe good. The parking areas are fairly level. Beautiful surroundings. The playgrounds are nice & well maintained as are the restroom facilities!
The bad. There are very few patrols for noisy guests. Fri. night, the group played extremely foul (swearing every 3-4 word), very loud "music" until 10pm which is the start of quiet hours (10pm-7am). They continued with loud (less raunchy), until 1am.
Cell service is non-existent at this location so couldn't contact the park.
The next night, a different family was in that same location & started an extremely loud generator at 10pm that ran until 1am.
The following night was relatively quiet except for the park police woke us up at around 2am to make sure we were OK. We were finally able to leave the outer door open because it was almost quiet. Although a "guest" about 10 spots away had a generator running until midnight. But, it was a less noisy one.
No showers, except in the "Turtle Cove" area that you have to pay to enter.

Read moreBeautiful park! Well kept I saw no trash anywhere but the trash cans. Bathrooms in Turtle Cove are clean and do not smell. And what fun Turtle Cove is! Lots of water going everywhere! The place scape had more places where water was spewing forth from, than I could be bothered to count! Lol. Two huge water slides were very popular! One you just sat in and slid down the other you sit on one of their big inner tube style floats. And if you want to kick back and float around they have the Lazy River. They don't allow outside food and drink, but the concession stand was not outlandishly expensive. For a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, fries, and a drink was $8.75. They also had lockers you can put the things you did not want by the pool in. For fifty cents it was absolutely worth it. There is the cost of getting in the park, $10 per car. And the additional cost for Turtle Cove, $12 per person on the weekend and $11 per person for...
