German's Villa — Attraction in Vermilion

We had our wedding reception at Germans Villa in September of 2014. It was perfect we dropped off everything a week ahead, my wife showed the ladies how she wanted everything set up and it looked perfect. We could not have been happier with the staff Cliff was awesome I never would have expected such an accommodating owner. Whenever something unexpected came up Cliff was right with us fixing it before it became a problem. Before the reception I mention to Cliff that one thing we wanted to focus on was getting everyone through the food lines quickly with over 300 guest we did not want people sitting around half the night waiting to get their food. Germans not only got the entire reception hall through the food lines in under it seemed like a half hour but the food was beyond excellent. For the price I would recommend Germans to anyone getting married in the area my wife and I honestly could not find one negative thing to say about our experience there. If anyone is getting married at Mill Hollow in Vermilion, I strongly encourage you to do the reception with Germans Villa you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a wedding venue who cares about making your day special you have found the right place. All of the staff are beyond professional and kind. Mr. German makes you feel like you’ve known him your whole life . Mr. Germans staff are amazing and very helpful, if you need them. Special thanks to them as well. They went above and beyond making sure my entire wedding from ceremony to reception was perfect. They even turned all my lights on when we couldn’t before the ceremony and closed the doors for my bridal entry WITHOUT us having to ASK. Their bridal suite is super cute comfortable to get ready in. Disappointed. I Was looking forward in our 6 pm reservation/arrived at 5:57 only to be rushed the entire time. ( venue closed at 7 ) First cold soup, then 1st tray of perch over cooked, other foods offered were either cold or gone already. By 6:35 the help make it clear they were wrapping things up. Mr German came over to talk, at which point he basically wasn’t even listening to the many issues of the meal.
