Nice overlook to south of Cross Plains with a bench to rest after uphill zig-zagging path. (Going counter clockwise) The downhill western path graveled and had a few slips on loose gravel, so caution- have proper footwear if going downhill, perhaps up as well.

This place was beautiful! The trail was great for beginners to advanced depending on how fast your pace is. The views and sounds allowed you to be completely out in nature without the commitment of a day hike. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Great segment of the Ice Age Trail. Plenty of shade and a very nice restored Oak Savannah.

Nice overlook to south of Cross Plains with a bench to rest after uphill zig-zagging path. (Going counter clockwise) The downhill western path graveled and had a few slips on loose gravel, so caution- have proper footwear if going downhill, perhaps up as well.

The Cross Plains Ice Age Trail is clearly marked. I walked the portion located off of a street in a neighborhood. I admired the new spring time vegetation. There was also interesting hills and rock formations left behind by the glaciers. A real treasure to...
