George Rogers Clark Memorial — Attraction in Vincennes

I just returned from a jaunt south to Vincennes Indiana to see the Geroge Rogers Clark Memorial. What a hidden gem of the National Parks Department! It had been years since I was there and I had forgotten how impressive it was. Definitely start out your time at the visitor's center and view the thirty-minute movie in the small auditorium that gives you the background information about Geroge Rogers Clark and his troops as well as on the construction of the memorial. This was surprisingly a cool stop. Visitor center was small but accommodating. Watch the film first before you do anything. My kids did the Junior Ranger program and earned their badge.
