Nice quiet little park with Beaver Dam creek's banks (mud and sand) to explore and the creek is shallow enough to wade and let your dog splash. A few parking spots but no picnic tables or trash cans. There are several displays explaining the historic history of the park site. It does have a nice sloping grassy slope inviting a nice blanket to stretch out and relax upon or enjoy a picnic (my favorite use with my dog). (FYI: the park on both sides of the walking bridge over the creek encompasses a section of the original road bed of Cold Harbor Rd, now relocated.
