Interesting exhibits on life and history of the people who settled and continue to live in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Topics include what life was like for the pioneers, life during the great depression, the birth of bluegrass, famous legends, and much more. There is a working farm exhibit that was closed for the winter when we visited. The museum is small but interesting and worth an hour or two if you'd like to see how this very unique culture came into existence and how it continues on today.
