Skiing is expensive. It is VERY expensive at the Homestead. Lift tickets are about what you'll pay out west, if you don't book in advance. The food is outrageously expensive. $10 for a hotdog expensive. Having said that, the slopes were very well groomed, there was never a wait in the lift line and everyone was over-the-top nice.
