Homestead Ski Slopes — Attraction in Clifton Forge

Skiing is expensive. It is VERY expensive at the Homestead. Lift tickets are about what you'll pay out west, if you don't book in advance. The food is outrageously expensive. $10 for a hotdog expensive. Having said that, the slopes were very well groomed, there was never a wait in the lift line and everyone was over-the-top nice. Came to Homestead after driving 3 hours. We were excited to spend the day there since we got there at 1pm. We purchased a day pass but didn’t get to use it since it closed at 4pm (apparently has been the case for 3 weeks) We were not notified that everything would shut down at 4pm as well, there was no sign posted.
