Whether you’re looking for a date idea, solo time to decompress, or a family-friendly nature spot, Falls Lake Dam is a hidden gem. I can’t wait to come back with a book or even just for another QT picnic!

Awesome place for sunrise and sunsets! I recommend walking or biking there if you’re close enough or know where the Neuse River trail access points are. Fishing, boating, trail walks, this place is great, especially if you’ve got children who need to expend some energy!

I love my Saturday mornings waking up drinking my coffee read my meditation after working the whole week. I would go to the dam and walk the trail. One of my favorite part seeing a deer. My husband and I live in Marion Virginia now. I miss it So much, Thank you for the Dam of Beauty and walking with God and his Beautiful...

The dam is a great place to watch a sunset around Raleigh/ Wake Forest. There are also great hiking trails, picnic spots, and canoe launches for fishing and general recreation. The visitor center is there with info to assist you. There is even a bike shop and an entrance to the...
